I have a question for everyone: What are the stainless steel grades of 313S and 316SS? What material is used domestically? Can the 313S material withstand high temperatures of 1000℃? ? Thank you all first!
SS stands for stainless steel; 316SS refers to stainless steel of type 316. 316 corresponds to 0Cr17Ni12Mo2Ti in China

SS stands for stainless steel, which is the abbreviation of Stainless Steel in English. It’s an American grade
It is merely an earlier way of referring to stainless steel; it should not be an accurate way of indicating the grade. In ASME, 304 and 316 are stainless steel grades.
316SS refers to stainless steels in the 316 series; the corresponding old national standard designation is 0Cr17Ni14Mo2. When simply written as 316ss, it can be either ASME SA-316 in engineering applications or the national standard version 316. I have never heard of 313.
