Can fire steam be used to clean pumps? Especially when operating pumps, without considering the misuse of fire-fighting equipment, is it possible to use steam to purge the operating pumps?

Steam cleaning pumps – they remain very clean right after cleaning, but once the steam evaporates, the pumps appear dirty. Using a steam cleaner on pumps for extended periods is not beneficial for the protective coating on them
Yes, anti-corrosion paint is not conducive to this; steam can be used to clean heavy oil, especially from the insulation sheets. However, it needs to be done quickly, otherwise it’s better to replace the sheets outright. Direct use of steam is not recommended; instead, hot water can be used for washing.
Your considerations are reasonable; this is also a theoretical aspect, but in practical work other factors need to be taken into account as well! Here, we only perform such operations on the pumps that are out of service, and those are all pumps in the heavy oil system!
For the dirty oil on the pump, we wipe it with gasoline and then spray paint it
