At full load and maximum flow rates, both the existing similar products and the HY-K810 type vapor-liquid two-phase flow trap can meet the production requirements. At low load and low flow rates, the steam pressure entering the regulator from existing similar products is almost balanced with the pressure of the gas. Due to the presence of small vapor holes, the steam pressure is reduced; as a result, the steam pressure inside the valve core is slightly lower than the steam pressure, which weakens the steam signal. Consequently, the hindrance to the flow of steam is reduced, leading to poor regulating performance. At low load, the vapor-liquid two-phase flow trap undergoes a structural change, resulting in circular vapor inlet; the vapor pressure remains unaffected. The vapor pressure entering the regulator is higher than the drainage pressure, ensuring accurate vapor signals and stronger inhibition of drainage, thus providing good regulation performance. Moreover, the liquid level fluctuates less and is more stable. The signal horn has been removed; instead, a signal tube is used to directly capture steam signals, which simplifies installation and results in a neater layout of pipes on site. The application range of the HY-K8 type vapor-liquid two-phase flow hydrophoger has been expanded; it is more suitable for equipment with unstable operating conditions such as shaft seal heaters, series expansion vessels, heat network exchangers, and flash tanks, as well as for devices in petrochemical and metallurgical industries that feature low flow rates and low pressures. VI. Composition of the technical apparatus for vapor-liquid two-phase flow hydrophobizers Ⅰ. Phase change tube (signal tube): Its function is to collect vapor and liquid phase signals based on the liquid level. Ⅱ. Self-regulating level controller: It is the main device for controlling the liquid level. Ⅲ. Bypass valve: It is a gate valve whose function is to correct errors caused by inaccurate parameter supply. Ⅳ. Inlet valve: It is a gate valve. Gas-liquid two-phase flow trap V. Steam valve: It is a gate valve. Ⅵ. Heater Ⅶ. Connection stub VII. (I) Design parameters of the HY-K8 type vapor-liquid two-phase flow trap Vapor-liquid two-phase flow trap Maximum operating pressure: ≤16MPa ; Maximum operating temperature: ≤455℃ ; Adjust steam consumption: approximately 1–3‰ of the hydrophobic volumetric flow rate ; Available flow rate: Designed based on the maximum flow rate.
