After taking on safety responsibilities, I summarized the three essential things for working in this field: 1. High emotional intelligence – it’s important to maintain good relationships with various departments internally, but one must not compromise on principle; know when to be lenient. It is necessary to maintain good cooperative relationships with the Work Safety Supervision Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, fire department, public security bureau, evaluation companies, and so on. 2. Good writing skills: Those working in safety deal with written materials almost every day, including attending safety meetings on a monthly basis, developing relevant policies, and holding annual review meetings, among other things. 3. Good oratory skills: Training is also an important aspect of safety work; the quality of delivery and the level of engagement in presentations directly affect the effectiveness of the training, which in turn has a crucial impact on the progress of safety efforts
