I’m a newcomer; I started working on the 1st and my field is piping. It can be said that I’m not at all familiar with this field yet. I would like to ask those who are more experienced: what requirements should be met in the piping field compared to the plumbing and electrical fields, and what are the differences in terms of processes? It is essentially addressed to the plumbing and water supply professionals: the foundation engineering design mainly specifies the water consumption amount and the diameter of the water supply pipes； Wastewater discharge components and wastewater discharge volume (if any) ； The detailed engineering design mainly involves the diameter of water pipes and the location of connections ； Floor plan, which shows the schemes for sewage and rainwater discharge (whether the sewage can be discharged on-site or if it needs to be sent to a wastewater treatment facility, etc.) ； To electrical engineering professionals: Basic engineering design primarily provides information on power consumption, power rating, and motor explosion protection classification ； In addition to the above, the detailed engineering design also needs to provide equipment layout drawings (including plan and elevation views) for static grounding and lightning protection. In our case, the process pipelines were not separated; if they had been separated, there would need to be specific regulations regarding the specialization of each area. For water supply and drainage, it refers to the layout plans, as well as the locations of various underground pipe connections and the diameters of those pipes. As for electrical systems, it involves layout plans, the routes of cable trays, and details related to different areas such as steel structure platforms and equipment areas; the electrical team also needs information on light bulbs. Electric valves installed on certain pipes also need to have their load requirements specified
