How to use a single-flange level transmitter? What is the accuracy?
If the density of the medium remains constant and it is an open container without any stirring mechanism, the measurements are still good
Would it be inconvenient to watch if I installed it at the bottom of the tank?
Installing it at the bottom does make it inconvenient to view; it can be connected to the control room for viewing. If you want a more direct view on-site, you can use magnetic flip plates
It doesn’t exist; it’s displayed on the DCS.
The tank is 7 meters tall, and the magnetic flap is too large
A 7-meter-high tank is installed at the tank measurement point, 200-300 mm from the bottom; a range shift is sufficient for this, and there is merely a 200-300 mm blind zone, which is nothing significant for a 7-meter-tall tank.
Don’t single-flange level gauges also have pressure transfer tubes? Install the flange at the bottom, and use pressure guide tubes of appropriate length to place the instrument display at a height that is easy to view.
The transmitters are all installed below; it’s not the transmitters themselves that are being observed. What they detect is a pressure signal, which needs to be converted before it can become a liquid level value.
