I have just started working in the chemical industry. The production line at the company’s Yana facility is unstable; the production process involves producing sodium hydroxide from SO2, followed by two stages of neutralization, and then three-effect evaporation and centrifugation. I’m looking for a Dulong curve diagram; it would make it more intuitive to understand the control of temperature, pressure, and concentration gradients during the evaporation process. I want to create some quantitative analyses to enhance my understanding. Thank you all!
Is it for producing anhydrous sodium sulfite?
A starting value is calculated using Düring’s formula, and then it is adjusted by comparing it with production practices in order to obtain the curve desired. Because both impurities and the solid-liquid ratio affect the accuracy of the curve.
