It is recommended to increase the size limit for uploaded attachments; for example, raise it to 50M. 14.7M is too small, and the attachment size limit does not match the characteristics of the current files
For large files, the following methods can be used to address this issue: 1. Upload them in split packages (a RAR file can be divided into N smaller packages, thereby reducing the size of each package). 2. Very large files can be uploaded to cloud storage services, with the link shared in the post. There is no technical problem with increasing the size of attachments, but when a single file is too large, uploading and downloading it becomes problematic in cases of poor network connectivity. In addition to the above methods, the single-file size for higher grades is increased to 20M
Now several well-known forums have increased the attachment size limit to 50M. For example, the Boyan Forum had a limit of 2M before, but it has now also been changed to 50M. The so-called \"poor network conditions\" are not a valid excuse; even with poor network connections, it’s sometimes impossible to download files of 1K in size. For the development of forums, the attachment size limit should be increased, and 50M is a recommended value.
It’s already 50M! ! ! Maximum size of a single attachment: 50 MB. Maximum total size of attachments per day: 500 MB. Maximum number of attachments per day: 500. Attachment types
It states that attachments smaller than 50M can be uploaded, but in practice only attachments under 14.7M can be uploaded. Are there still some restrictions that haven’t been lifted?
There are limits on daily uploads. It seems to be related to the level as well. The upper limit is indeed 50M now.
