This post was last edited by Thank goodness you're here on 2015-7-27 00:01. I want to take you to see the most beautiful scenery, just the two of us. No need for bulky suitcases, no need to travel with too many people, no need to worry about the length of the journey. You and I, hand in hand, going together; we won’t be lonely or tired. Together, we’ll go to see the most beautiful scenery in this world. I want to take you to Heixiazi Island to see the sunrise, as it is the place in China where the sunrise occurs earliest; then we’ll go to Kashgar to watch the sunset, as it is the place in China where the sun sets latest. Right? If we see the sun earliest and wait until sunset latest, our journey will be longer, and so won’t the time we can hold hands also be longer? I want to take you to Changbai Mountain, where there are over 1,400 species of plants. In autumn, different tree species change color one after another – shades of green, brilliant yellow, and vivid red – against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountains in the distance. I want you to see it in different seasons. In this way, I can experience the changes of spring, summer, autumn, and winter with you. I want to take you to the Kanas scenic area, to see those silver strands hanging from the trees in the early morning, to observe the shapes they form as they stay close together, and to experience the misty beauty of Moon Bay. I want to take you to Shangri-La to experience that breathtaking beauty. A green grass carpet, shrubs wandering around, and highland barley on people’s rooftops. Their everyday necessities and simple life are what we aspire to. I want to take you to the Hulunbuir grasslands, to play by the crystal-clear Morin Gol River, and watch horses galloping in the distance. Tired, I lie on the grassland, looking at the blue sky and white clouds, letting the grass tickle us. I want to take you to Shigatse in Tibet, to listen to the songs about barley sung by the local residents. During the wheat harvest season, we can fly kites together with the children, run after the wind, laugh foolishly, and forget about worries and hurts. I want to take you to Jiuzhaigou, to that place that resembles a fairy tale in autumn, to see the colorful trees reflected in the azure waters of the lake. I want to see if there really are princesses and princes from fairy tales living there, happily just like us. I want to take you to Qixia in Yantai, Shandong – there, there are tons of my favorite apples. We can lie among those apple trees, breathe in their fragrance, and fall into a peaceful sleep, without having to worry about the hustle and bustle outside. I want to take you to northern Shaanxi, to see the peppers that the locals hang in their courtyards; to hear the rustling sound they make as the wind blows through them, and to set off firecrackers to celebrate our happiness. I want to take you to see the red leaves at Badaling and Xiangshan in Beijing; they are my favorite red maples, with a brilliance that’s truly stunning. I hope you’ll like them too. I also want to take you to Dalian to see the cherry blossoms, to see how beautifully they bloom, and whether they are as pure and innocent as the smiles we had in our childhood. I want to take you to Hainan Island to see the sea, to feel the sea breeze, and to let the seagulls deliver our greetings to the sunset; we want to tell the shells that we are happy. I still want to take you there. . . . . . . . . . I want to take you to so many places. The world is so beautiful, with so many stunning places around it. Life is too short, and I’m afraid we won’t have enough time to see all the wonderful things in this world. As long as you are by my side, as long as you are doing well, you will be the most beautiful sight in my life. Without you by my side, even the most beautiful scenery in the world would lose its luster! We keep wandering around, searching endlessly for the most beautiful scenery in the world. In fact, perhaps the most beautiful things are right here, right beside us, within our hearts.
