I need help from experts in selecting a heat exchanger for pilot-scale testing. The heat exchange area is only around 1.52 – how should I choose a heat exchanger? It’s urgent! Thank you all.

Maybe, there are even smaller heat exchange areas; brazed heat exchangers are relatively compact in size.
A shell-and-tube heat exchanger should be a relatively ideal type. But as other sea friends have said, first you need to ensure that the calculations related to the heat exchange process are accurate. When selecting a heat exchanger, information such as at least two types of fluids, flow rates, temperatures, pressures, pressure drops, and even constraints related to the available space for the equipment is necessary; only then can others help you make the right choice.
