As required, explosion-proof tools should be used to tighten the components when ensuring hydrogen gas tightness; but what temporary solutions are available if such tools are not available? For example, applying butter to bolts, etc. Thank you
Is air used for airtightness? Shouldn’t nitrogen or air be used? We bought copper Plum blossoms wrenches, copper hammers, as well as copper tools (which include shovels, hammers, screwdrivers, etc., all made of copper)
What we commonly use is buttering the bolts, or wrapping a cloth around the part of the wrench that is being struck
Personally, I think it’s better not to violate the operating procedures; try to use explosion-proof tools as required. If those aren’t available, you can use butter or a cloth as a pad.
Whenever a problem arises, it turns out to be due to violations of rules; so it’s better to have these tools ready. Otherwise, when something does go wrong, it will always be the people doing the work who suffer!
It is recommended to use a hydraulic wrench, as it provides a firm grip and applies even force. Or use a torque wrench
It is best to use a hydraulic wrench with grease applied for explosion protection, as there aren’t large enough explosion-proof wrenches for big bolts
