The semi-hermetic piston compressor 3ss1-1500-tfd-203 used in cold storage keeps shutting down frequently these days. What’s going on? Is the highest outdoor temperature around 40 degrees right now? The air-cooled condenser does not dissipate heat very well. Is it the overheat protection that causes the system to shut down? Is there any solution?

The reasons for excessively high condensation pressure in air-cooled condensers are: ① High ambient temperature or poor ventilation； ②Dust and dirt on the surface area of the condenser ； ③The load on the cold dryer is too high ； ④Air enters the refrigerant system ； ⑤The heat transfer area of the condenser is insufficient ； ⑥The cooling fan has low airflow ； ⑦The cold dryer is installed in the wrong location (for example, near a heat source, exposed to direct sunlight, or with too little distance between the cold dryer and anything else around it) ； ⑧The pressure switch controlling the fan is improperly set or damaged ； ⑨There is blockage in the refrigerant circuit or components ； 10 Excessive refrigerant charge reduces the heat transfer area.
