The 14th China International Chemical Industry Exhibition 2015 will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in September. Organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and co-organized by the Chemical Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Chemical Information Center, the 2015 (14th) China International Chemical Industry Exhibition (ICIF China) will take place from September 16 to 18, 2015, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. “The \"China International Chemical Industry Exhibition\" is the first international and comprehensive exhibition in China’s chemical industry. Since its inception in 1992, it has been successfully held thirteen times over a period of 23 years. Last September, the 13th China International Chemical Industry Exhibition was held at the Tianjin Binhai International Convention and Exhibition Center. With a total exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, it brought together more than 400 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions, while over 10,000 professional visitors from more than 40 countries and regions attended the event. The China International Chemical Industry Exhibition has become an industry event of renowned prestige, authority, and influence, widely recognized and actively participated in by the petroleum and chemical sectors both at home and abroad. Elite figures from the chemical industry gather once again; specialized exhibition areas highlight the key trends in the industry. Since 2012, with the aim of developing both the northern and southern markets, the China International Chemical Industry Exhibition has been strategically adjusted to be held alternately in Tianjin and Shanghai each year. Every year, the International Chemical Industry Fair ICIF China attracts numerous domestic and international visitors, business delegations who come for purchasing, negotiations, exchanges, and cooperation. It has become a major exhibition that industry professionals attend every time it takes place. In September this year, many professional experts from leading companies in the global petrochemical industry, trade groups, as well as domestic and international visitors will gather in Shanghai once again. The reporter learned from the organizers of the exhibition that the 2015 China International Chemical Industry Exhibition is expected to see over 450 exhibitors, with more than 15,000 professional visitors and high-end buyers from home and abroad. In terms of the layout of the exhibition areas, this edition will continue to use a segmented approach to display various products. The exhibition will feature a comprehensive area for petroleum and chemical products, an area for overseas companies, areas for fine and specialty chemicals, a dyes section, an area for basic chemical raw materials, an area for chemical equipment and automation, as well as a theme area dedicated to green chemistry. The detailed classification of exhibits enables the themed exhibition areas to highlight industry trends, allowing traders and visitors to find the products they need more efficiently, quickly, and with greater focus. “Focusing on the theme of \"Innovation and Transformation,\" tens of thousands of petrochemical product technologies are showcased here. Currently, the global oil and chemical industry is accelerating a new round of structural adjustments. “As the most authoritative exhibition platform in the petrochemical industry, the \"China International Chemical Industry Exhibition\" will take \"Transformation and Innovation\" as its theme in 2015, showcasing the latest products and concepts. This year’s ICIF China, the International Chemical Industry Exhibition, is themed “Innovation and Transformation,” and will focus on innovative products, with exhibits primarily including basic petroleum and chemical raw materials, fine chemical products, as well as petroleum and chemical equipment. The exhibition will feature tens of thousands of products and technologies from the oil, petrochemical, chemical industries and related fields. The exhibits will include basic organic and inorganic chemicals, fine and specialty chemicals, chemical synthetic materials and their raw materials, agrochemicals, dyes and pigments, chemical technology, chemical equipment and automation, as well as design and consulting services for new technologies and products aimed at energy conservation and emission reduction, along with chemical safety topics. With over ten thousand elites from the petrochemical industry gathered, specialized exhibition areas, the display of tens of thousands of chemical products and equipment, as well as the presentation, exchange, and discussion of the latest and most cutting-edge development trends in the domestic and international petrochemical industries, ICIF China 2015 is set to become another highly notable industry event.
