Are there any special requirements for the plugs of transmitters?
To match the threads on the transmitter
Just specify the material and connection specifications.
The material and specifications are generally the same as those of the stuffing box.
The special requirement is just to prevent leaks.........
Apart from being able to screw it in, the main thing is that waterproofing must be ensured!
There are discharge plug types, as well as simple plugs that simply serve to block things off. We use 316 for all of them, and there is also 304. The main thing to address is corrosion prevention, I guess. Since it’s going to be installed, the threads need to match
The materials must be the same; you can’t use a carbon steel plug with stainless steel, right~~ Hehe
What medium and thread type do you have? As long as it meets the requirements, that’s fine
The thread size is appropriate; just wrap some Teflon tape around it and tighten it. Why bring this issue to the forum?
