The oxygen pressure for the unit’s 6.5MPA gasifier is designed to be 8.1MPA, with the normal operating pressure around 8.2MPA. During operation, with the valve position of the oxygen flow control valve remaining unchanged, the flow rate in the oxygen pipeline fluctuates between 400 and 600; I’m not sure what the fluctuation range is in other units. The fluctuation magnitude was relatively small in the early stage and has started to increase recently, while the pressure in the gasification furnace has remained very stable. Personally, I think the problem might lie in the large fluctuations caused by the swinging of the check valve on the oxygen pipeline at the burner, and there is abnormal noise at the check valve on site.
What is the form of a one-way valve? The pressure difference of oxygen and the gasification furnace at 12 kilograms will not affect the oxygen flow rate, as the check valve prevents this. It is necessary to check the oxygen flow control valve; fluctuations of 400 cubic meters are generally caused by issues with the oxygen control valve, with the fluctuation amount being around 0.5 to 1 valve position.
Personally, I don’t think it’s a problem with the check valve; is there any fluctuation in the pressure difference at your burners? Fluctuations in the burner pressure difference will cause fluctuations in oxygen pressure and flow as well! The oxygen pressure changes very little, but the flow rate is quite noticeable!

We are constantly experiencing fluctuations; 400–600 is considered a relatively normal range. The issue is most likely caused by fluctuations in the oxygen valve; During periods of significant fluctuations, the control center can observe fluctuations in the analog signal of the oxygen control valve, and indeed the valve experiences fluctuations on-site as well.

I recall reading in some materials about the phenomenon of backflow valve oscillation; if this factor is ruled out, it could be due to the oxygen flow control valve. The oxygen flow control valves of most manufacturers are operated manually; if fluctuations still occur in such cases, it is due to unstable output signals from the valve positioners, and the issue needs to be investigated from the perspective of instrument control. Such fluctuations have a significant impact on the temperature of the gasification furnace; the ideal operating condition for such a furnace is one with a constant temperature.

It could be a problem with the control valve, but it is estimated that most of them do not have automatic oxygen valves; such valves hardly ever move on their own. Here, normal fluctuations in oxygen levels are usually around 300-400. Fluctuations in the pressure difference at the burner cause fluctuations in the oxygen pressure entering the furnace, which in turn leads to large fluctuations in oxygen flow – fluctuations of 1000-2000 cubic feet have occurred, and as a result the furnace temperature can rise to 1400 very quickly

Well, the furnace is equipped with a 6.5MPA Texaco top-fired burner, and there is a fairly high possibility of fluctuations in the oxygen control valve.
