What software is good for the production management of pressure vessels?
We are using ERP, but it’s extremely difficult to use – there is no overall planning for software management. Following what others say leads to a system operation style that’s as if we’re still in the DOS era. .
Don’t place blind trust in software; before management levels and efficiency reach a certain threshold, using such software will only further reduce efficiency. This was something we said from the very beginning when training on ERP systems. These days, people tend to follow trends – whether it’s ERP systems or 6 Sigma and similar concepts – but they overlook the prerequisites for using such tools. Therefore, it’s better to start with conventional management methods to gradually improve operational standards, and only then consider using software. Otherwise, not only will money be wasted, but efficiency will also decline, and conflicts are likely to arise.
