During the project construction, the movement of tower cranes in and out involves their installation and dismantling, and of course, this needs to be carried out by professional installation and dismantling teams. The purpose here is simply to help everyone better understand the installation and dismantling of tower cranes; therefore, I would like to share with you a few tips that are useful when installing and dismantling tower cranes. 1. First, connect the power supply of the tower crane before removing the traction rod and lifting the pulley frame and guide wheel frame. However, a careful and thorough inspection of the tower body, boom, lifting mechanism, brakes, etc. is required to determine whether there is any damage, faults, or defects ； Ensure the safety and reliability of the entire machine. 2. Activate the luffing mechanism to allow the crane’s front traveling wheels to move slowly onto the tracks; remove the front idler wheels and then pull them out of the tracks. 3. Slowly loosen the brake on the luffing mechanism so that the crane’s rear traveling wheels come into contact with the tracks. Then, equip it with ballast and use rail clamps to firmly secure the entire track ； Only then can the connection between the boom and the rear towing wheel be released. Inspect each mechanism of the crane and lubricate every lubrication point. 4. Start the jib mechanism to raise the tower body, and then have the tower body stand upright ； Fit the pin for it, so that the tower body and the turntable are connected properly. Use a pull plate to connect the turntable and the chassis in series. 5. Finally, connect the parts where the tower body and the boom meet, then activate the luffing mechanism to slowly raise the boom.
