Our company’s quasi-first-grade coke ash content was 13.35 yesterday; upon retesting it was 13.20, and after regrinding it was 13.41； The normal test value is around 12.2. A power outage occurred during the coking process; operations resumed normally after 1 hour. The maximum fluctuation in the parameters for a single type of coal was below 0.5, while there were no abnormal fluctuations in the parameters for the blended coal ； Due to the recent rain, there may be instability in the material discharge at the storage area. Please take time off to help me analyze this – is power outage the main cause of such significant abnormalities?
With such a sudden change, it’s necessary to check from the aspect of sample grinding; ash content should be measured separately for each type of coal used, and new samples need to be taken for testing as well
