In our company’s gasification furnace, the filters in the quench water pipeline tend to deform quite quickly after short periods of operation (usually within about a month). Tapered filters are prone to deformation; it is advisable to use hemispherical filters or add reinforcing ribs. During the start-up and shutdown of the vaporization furnace, scale on the inner walls of the pipes falls off as a result of alternating heat and cold conditions.
