Our company installs circulating water systems for coking plants, with make-up water coming from reclaimed water; its pH is often below 7, around 6. Several. The design concentration ratio for such circulating water systems is 2.5 times. Could this condition cause corrosion in the system?

When replenishing reclaimed water, the pH value should be adjusted appropriately by adding a small amount of alkaline substance, so as to maintain an appropriate alkalinity level. It is not possible to simply add water without considering the normal conditions of the circulating water; it is necessary to monitor this process and adjust the water quality accordingly. In circulating water treatment systems, there are measures for adding acid and alkali, as well as measures for adding other auxiliary water treatment agents.
