Is the medium used for high-pressure water phosphorus removal with valves corrosive? What is the temperature usually?

I have a client who is using high-pressure descaling valves, and I want to replace them with valves produced by my company. However, he’s hesitant to do so. I asked the people on site; the medium is ordinary circulating water, it’s not highly corrosive, only the pressure is relatively high.
Well, I asked and got the same answer: there are some scale impurities inside that haven’t been filtered out properly, and the pressure is high. Nothing else seems to be an issue, but I’m not sure why a special high-pressure phosphorus removal valve was developed – it’s a valve designed for specific purposes. It’s likely that there are some particular problems in this process that make other valves unsuitable, but I still haven’t figured it out
