What other tasks are there for a process engineer in natural gas processing, besides simulation calculations? (Draw P&IDs, select equipment, etc.? ) I hope those in this field can provide some guidance
The process involves primarily simulation calculations to determine the process flow, calculate material and heat balances, assess equipment and pipelines, define requirements for equipment, instruments, electrical systems, etc., and prepare PID parameters for submission to downstream teams.
Do you, as a process engineer, work in design, production management, or construction and installation?
