In the morning, a call from the control room informed us that the switch valve of a certain vacuum system was not closed properly. Upon arriving at the site, upon checking the switch, it was found that the cylinder had shifted and the hex key used for connecting the components was loose. Attempts were made to tighten it, but it turned out that it had already been tightened many times before and was worn out, making it impossible to tighten it further with a wrench. Using pliers or something didn’t help to tighten it; there was no other choice but to take temporary measures. The switch valve in question has a small cylinder, but the handle part is long, so wire was used to secure it to the metal frame nearby. {:1_90:} Physical limit. Actually, if time permits, one could also try adjusting the limit screw. Unscrew the screw for adjustment to see if there is still some reserve in the spring. . . However, the processing time does not allow it; we have to put it on hold for now. I want to complain about these on-off valves made by Chenggao – many of them have the same problem, namely loose connectors between the cylinder actuator and the valve body. . . .
