Why are buried pipelines not suitable for steam purging?
The main concern is that the anti-corrosion asphalt layer might be damaged after heating.
It always seems that using pre-installed pipes to convey steam without tubes is not a reliable approach
The steam purge ports are located on the ground, and there is still a height difference when coming up from below; heavy trash cannot be removed in this way. Urban heating pipes are also buried directly underground, but they are mostly used for hot water; a small amount of debris is acceptable, so they are all washed with water.
There is an asphalt anti-corrosion layer; you can see it when the civil work is being done~~~
