There is no need to worry about what material the shaft should be made of, as it doesn’t come into contact with any liquids at all; ordinary 45# steel is more than sufficient
For alkali liquid pumps, attention should be paid to the material chosen for the mechanical seal; the material of the pump shaft is 45# steel, as mentioned above
Shafts are mostly made of 45# steel, but stainless steel is sometimes used as well; however, this may not be very significant. As mentioned above, if there is a leakage in the seal, timely action can prevent significant corrosion of the shaft.
