What type of flange gasket is suitable for cold coal gas pipelines designed with a pressure of 0.4 MPa?
Graphite gaskets are the safest option, with a high pressure resistance rating as well

HG20614-2009 clearly states that asbestos and non-asbestos gaskets shall not be used in environments with extremely or highly hazardous media! Gas is a highly hazardous substance, so it cannot be used!
It’s best to consider the actual installation site; for the entire setup, decide whether to use flanges that meet European standards or those that meet American standards. Choose the standard that makes it easier to obtain spare parts for replacement, as this involves gas. Metal gaskets are suitable (either spiral-wound gaskets or toothed gaskets will work). Low-pressure pipelines are less likely to leak, so this approach ensures long-term reliability.
