Dear sea friends, what is the series of catalysts used in continuous reforming units? Is tetrachloroethylene being used to inject chlorine now? If so, what are the specifications? Thank you
We use tetrachloroethylene; there are no specific specifications for it
The continuous reforming catalysts that are widely used in China at present are of the RIPP type. However, for new plants, those supplied by the patent holders of the process packages are used initially, mainly from UOP and AXENS. More new designs make use of dense-phase catalysts. The chlorine injection agents and similar substances you mentioned are basically the same; all relevant data can be found on their official websites.
We are uopR254; for tetrachloroethylene, we use the product from Luxi, with a purity of over 99.5%. I guess this can be considered a low standard, as the water content needs to be extremely low
