Explosion-proof cranes are now a common type of equipment in mechanical manufacturing and construction. When in use, it is essential to ensure that components such as the crane’s hook, brakes, and steel cables function properly, in order to prevent related accidents. When using explosion-proof cranes, operators must pay attention to the following points: First, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the hook – make sure that all the protective devices designed to prevent the hook from coming loose are functioning properly. During use, care should be taken to avoid any collisions with the hook; if cracks are found on the hook or if its damage exceeds the specified limits, it must be replaced promptly. Secondly, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the brakes: regularly check whether all parts of the brakes as well as the related components are functioning properly, verify whether there is any gap between the brake pads, and ensure that the surfaces of the brake wheels are in good condition. If any problems or faults are detected with the brakes, they should be repaired or replaced promptly. It is recommended to change the lubricant for the brakes twice a week. Finally, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the steel wire rope: try to avoid bending it at sharp angles. During use, the crane must be started slowly and steadily to prevent the wire rope from breaking due to excessive force applied during operation.
