In my junior year, I joined an innovation and practice center at the university and worked as a teaching assistant for a computer-related elective course, responsible for delivering theoretical lectures and providing guidance on practical experiments. . Since it’s merely a helpful service, I charge nothing for either the hardware or software, except of course in the case when the hardware is damaged. . . . I took a look – it was the standard procedure: restart the system, and then use the PE from my own USB drive to do the restart. But I didn’t expect that formatting the system would also result in the formatting of my USB drive. . . There’s nothing left. . I happened to see that there was a patch fix listed when the other person’s computer started up, so I applied that fix and the computer worked fine. . . Then, when the boss saw that I had fixed the computer, he forced a red yuan bill on me; actually, considering the amount of work involved, 5-10 yuan would have been sufficient for that task. . . The only time they received payment was in such a scenario. . . The two days before graduation were the busiest for me; it’s likely that everyone knew these were the last two days I could fix computers for free, as after that I would have to pay someone to do it. . . These days, at the company, I handle small problems on my own, while turning to IT for bigger issues – after all, I don’t want to take away IT’s workload.
