China defeats Japan 3-1 at Women’s Volleyball World Cup, winning title for fourth time and securing spot at Rio Olympics

On the evening of September 6th, Beijing time, the 2015 Women’s Volleyball World Cup came to an end in Japan. In their final match, the Chinese women’s volleyball team faced fierce resistance from the host country, Japan, and it took four intense sets to defeat their opponents 3-1, with the scores across the four sets being 25-17, 22-25, 25-21, and 25-22. With this victory, the Chinese team achieved 10 wins and 1 loss, scoring 30 points. They overtook Serbia, which also had 10 wins, by 4 points to claim the championship; together with Serbia, they secured one of the first spots at the Rio Olympics. This victory marks the fourth World Cup title won by the Chinese team, as well as their eighth world championship win after a 11-year gap. It’s a shame the women’s basketball team lost yesterday!
The ending was not bad. I hadn’t watched it in years, and it seems that Lang Ping is still the better player.
