The process is as follows: Currently, the conductivity of the pure water used for water treatment is 4.2; this water is sent to the desalinated water tank, where its conductivity rises to 8.82. After passing through the deaerator, the desalinated water enters the molten salt heat exchanger where it exchanges heat with water, thereby generating steam at a pressure of 1.7 MPa. However, recently the water from the exhaust furnace has poor quality – it appears slightly red in color, with a conductivity of around 100 and a pH level of around 10. Sodium triphosphate is dissolved in a dissolving tank (usually around 9 o’clock every day, once a day), and then the solution is sent to the feed pump before entering the heat exchanger. In today’s tests, the phosphate concentration was found to be 7.83 mg/L, while the molar ratio of Na+/PO43- was 6.33. I would like to ask everyone: what could possibly be the problem in my setup? A few days ago, it was discovered that there was a leak in the resin of the mixed-bed system; a spare mixed-bed unit has now been installed. The conductivity of the condensate water is 8.9, while that of the deaerator water is 7.36
Given this high sodium-to-phosphate ratio, is there any alkaline corrosion?
