Why are all the items in the DB block of the S7-300 gray, and can’t I change their symbols either?
The program configuration of the JX-300 is different from that used to control other modules, and an engineer’s dog is required. So there could be two scenarios: one is that there is no engineer, and the other is that you are not under the engineer’s permissions. If both of these conditions are met, restart the computer.
This DB block is the background data block of a certain FB (functional block); to make modifications, one must enter the corresponding FB block and alter its variable definitions
