I’d like to ask everyone! What information does the owner need to provide to the design institute at various stages of a chemical engineering project? For example, the overall design phase, the foundation engineering design phase, and the detailed engineering design phase.
Overall design phase: 1. The owner’s overall business situation, including financial status 2. The source of raw materials for the owner 3. The availability of water, electricity, and gas for the owner 4. The conditions of the owner’s site as well as those of upstream and downstream processes
Process packages, project feasibility studies, project proposals, geographical conditions, transportation conditions, utility systems, plant layout diagrams, exploration results related to qualifications, and other information that the design institute requires from the owner. The key is to communicate well with the design institute and prepare in advance.
