For the drainage pipes at the bottom of water (carbon) scrubber towers and high-flash (or evaporative hot water) towers, should there be more large L-bends or more straight tees?
It is usually a large L-shaped bend, with one path at the cone bottom and another at the upper part to prevent blockage at the cone bottom.
A straight tee should be chosen, as it makes it easier to clear blockages.
