Diesel test parameters: Sulfur content: 0.033, kinematic viscosity: 4.2, flash point: 64, cetane number: 52, density: 0.81, boiling range: 10%: 199, 50%: 260, 90%: 331, 95%: 352. Acid value 0.5, copper corrosion: 1
Also, test the olefin content of the diesel again, or determine its bromine value. When the content of unsaturated hydrocarbons in the fuel is high, gums and various polymers are likely to form, causing blockages at the fuel injectors. It is not evident from the boiling range that diesel is heavier.

Oil coking is not related to sulfur content, but it is related to olefin and nitrogen content. The higher the degree of unsaturation, the higher the nitrogen content and the greater the gum content, which is key to coking.
