Process design/engineering translation – are there any suitable jobs in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai?

Since graduating, I have worked at a company in Ningbo that specializes in patent-related technologies for the oil industry, particularly patent processes for oil desulfurization; the company went public on the Beijing New Third Board last year. Specialties: English interpretation, translation of engineering documents (I am basically the one who translates the English versions of documents such as PDEPs for the company’s overseas projects), process (package) design, and on-site start-up, shutdown, and after-sales support. Considering personal development, I’ve been thinking about changing to a job in a design firm or with a foreign company recently. Since my English is decent and I have 3 years of experience in petrochemical engineering, I have also been involved in the design of various small-scale project plans and process packages. I submitted my resume to the Chemical Talent website, but nothing happened–no response at all. I think my attitude is pretty good; the positions I applied for weren’t overly ambitious on my part. Based on the descriptions of the companies hiring, I’m definitely capable of handling those roles. But there’s no response at all. Oh, mighty HaiChuan – have other friends who work in this field had similar experiences? And how did they end up finding suitable jobs?
