A mobile crane, as the name implies, is a crane that can move on its own. Mobile cranes mainly include crawler cranes, tire cranes, truck-mounted cranes, etc. There are specific requirements for transporting them: when a crawler crane is moving with a load, its boom must be positioned right in front of the tracks, at a height not exceeding half a meter above the ground; the brakes for rotation, the boom, and the hook must be engaged. Crawler cranes cannot be used for long-distance transportation. Tire-mounted and truck-mounted cranes must not move while carrying loads, and after completing work, the legs and the rotating arm cannot be moved simultaneously. When moving a truck crane to a new location, the boom should be placed on its support, the hook should be hung on the hook on the bumper, and the steel cable should be tightened. Before starting the engine of a mobile crane, the clutch must be disengaged and all control levers placed in the neutral position; the operators on board must communicate with each other before starting the machine. When turning, mobile cranes must not do so too quickly or abruptly. Turning is prohibited when the crane is approaching its full load or already at full load, and sliding in neutral is strictly forbidden when going downhill.
