The issue of liquid in the fuel gas supplied to heating furnaces arises because, as the temperature drops during the transportation of the fuel gas, the heavier components within it gradually condense. As a result, liquid ends up being present in the fuel gas. In winter, when temperatures are extremely low, freezing can occur, leading to a disruption in the supply of fuel gas and posing a threat to production. The best approach is to properly control the operation of the reabsorption tower in order to minimize the carryover of heavy components. Another point is to ensure proper insulation and heat tracing of the pipelines; this can only reduce the problem to a certain extent, as eliminating it completely is quite difficult.
