I remember that the \"Refrigeration and Air Conditioning\" program in our school was always at the junior college level; later, the school wanted to upgrade this program to an undergraduate one. By using one’s connections, it’s not clear to what extent this was done, but I managed to have my program changed to an undergraduate one. During the specialization placement in our junior year, we had the options of “Heat Engines,” “Mechanical Design and Manufacturing,” “Marine Engineering,” and “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.” In order to attract students to change their undergraduate majors and gain some sort of reputation, the school sends dedicated deans of academic affairs, deputy deans, as well as teachers who are good at persuasion to give presentations. The message is that those who perform well in their studies should choose the refrigeration major, as it offers good career prospects, especially for girls. As a result, the majority of students with excellent grades were misled, which led to there being less than 10 students in the Marine Engineering program, and that program was eventually discontinued ； In our thermodynamic engines program, there was only 1 female student; to protect her, she was transferred elsewhere, turning the program into what could truly be called a class of men. During our senior year, companies came to recruit students. It was evident that those in our major who did not have a CET-4 certificate were all offered jobs at shipyards in Dalian, while those in the refrigeration major who had a CET-6 certificate received no interest at all. If you ask the company, they may not recognize your undergraduate major; if hiring is still possible, then they will hire you on the basis of your associate degree qualifications. The first group of students who did not sign in at the company went to see their class advisors and department heads collectively, but of course that yielded no results. The reply was, “When choosing a major, it was a mutual decision; no one forced you to come here.” ”“If you think you’ve been treated unfairly, then fine, you can repeat your junior and senior years for two years. ” Finally, who would want to do such a thing? Go find a job properly~
You are part of the first batch; if you can trick people, do so – otherwise why would anyone apply? Back then, there were only two girls in our entire major, and their grades weren’t great. To keep them from changing majors in their freshman year, the counselors awarded them financial aid and scholarships.
It’s true that college is like a small society – it’s really frustrating.
What a trap. . . The first to try crabs always ends up in trouble. . . In my class, our School of Chemical Engineering admitted students at the first-tier admission level for the first time, but we managed to recruit almost no one. . 99% of them go there as a result of being reassigned. . .
Let me tell you again, at that time we had other majors as well, such as Food and Safety and Animal Husbandry, and their employment rates were even lower, seems to have been less than 20%.

You mention breeding; I think I can guess what you mean. . . . I know quite a lot about schools in Dalian. . For example, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, Dalian Fisheries University, Dalian Institute of Physics and Chemistry, and so on – lol, I have classmates studying at all these schools. . .
