What is the purpose of installing a fan at the top of the exhaust tower used to treat chlorine gas emissions, and is it possible to omit it?
For suction purposes, to create a slight negative pressure in the exhaust tower
Our factory didn’t install one; maybe it was due to considerations regarding height and suction power. There’s also a water jet pump there that has remained unused as idle equipment
That seems impossible, right? When there is a chlorine leak, how can chlorine be drawn out if the system isn’t under negative pressure? It’s not possible to let chlorine spread around freely. Does chlorine system purging require negative pressure?
It’s the same as using vacuum; our tower operates under negative pressure by means of vacuum.

Isn’t chlorine always pumped out using titanium fans and absorbed with alkali? Otherwise, how is evacuation carried out during shutdown and packaging?
