Does anyone know in what situations long-neck flanges and integral flanges can be used?

Hello everyone, does anyone know in what situations long-neck flanges and integral flanges can be used? I haven’t used it, so I don’t know when it would be appropriate to use it. If any of you know, please share your opinions. Thank you!
Generally, long-high-neck flanges are used for reinforcement with solid forgings; I don’t use integral flanges very often – they are probably similar to welded flanges with necks.
Integral flanges are generally used in high-pressure vessels, mainly because of the high pressure and associated risks, in order to minimize potential leakage points.
