Common faults of tensile testing machines and their solutions

Kunshan Huakai Testing Instruments Co., Ltd. is a company that specializes in the production and sales of electronic tensile machines, universal tensile machines, tensile testing machines, tension testers, tensiometers, and push-pull tensiometers. Currently, I am mainly responsible for sales and after-sales service to customers in the East China region, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Anhui. According to customer feedback, during operation of the tensile testing machine, the following three situations often occur, as detailed below: 1. A message box appears after the computer software is connected, indicating an overload. The solution is to check whether the communication cable between the computer and the testing machine has come loose; to verify that the correct sensor was selected for online use; to check if the sensor was damaged during any recent tests or when using the keyboard; to see if the software’s calibration or adjustment functions were used before the problem occurred; and to check whether there were any manual changes made to the calibration values, adjustment values, or other hardware parameters. 2. The power supply of the main unit of the tensile testing machine is not working, preventing it from moving up and down. The solution is to check whether the power supply cables connected to the testing machine are properly connected; verify that the emergency stop switch is in the engaged position; check if the power voltage supplied to the testing machine is normal; and inspect whether the fuse in the machine’s socket has blown – in that case, replace it with a spare fuse. 3. The power supply to the main unit of the testing machine is connected, but the equipment cannot move up or down. The solution is to check whether the device still cannot move after 15 seconds, as the host needs to undergo a self-check once it is turned on, which takes about 15 seconds; verify that the upper and lower limits are in the correct positions to allow sufficient operating space; and check whether the power voltage supplied to the testing machine is normal.
