Everyone: Before 2005, it was required that a master’s graduate have at least one paper published in a journal of high impact as the first author; so how many master’s graduates were able to conduct independent research and easily publish in such journals? Wasn’t it completed with the help of a supervisor? I think it’s almost impossible to finish anything as a master’s student without a supervisor! What do you think?
