Hello everyone, are there any regulations regarding the customized management of fire extinguishers within the factory premises? In Nissan’s safety management, is it possible to designate a frame in the production area? How should one draw to meet the standards? I would appreciate some guidance from an expert. Thank you!
There is no requirement for fire extinguishers to be managed in a fixed location. Placing it in a fixed location is only for ease of access, and to protect it from wind and sunlight. The way of making picture frames is something that individual organizations decide on on their own; some organizations do it this way, simply because it looks good.
It is best to implement fixed management for easy inspection and verification.

Place a fire extinguisher cabinet; if that doesn’t work, hang it on the wall – it shouldn’t be placed directly on the floor. Draw a circle and add some markings above it.
The fire extinguishers in our company are placed in fixed locations, with their positions determined based on the principle of easy access; more extinguishers are installed in areas prone to fires. All that’s needed is to paint a frame around the fire extinguisher cabinet with yellow paint, and then keep a record of the fire extinguishers
It seems that picture frames are required only under 5S management; it depends on the needs of the poster’s company
There are also requirements regarding the height above the ground; it is advisable to equip it with a fire extinguisher box for protection
