The people here say it needs to be steamed as well. Is steaming really necessary?
After venting the gas, a temporary water line is connected to start water injection, and injection is stopped once water is observed coming out of the tank roof vent. Low-pressure steam is introduced, the water temperature is maintained at 50°C for 48 hours, after which the water is drained and nitrogen is used for displacement; the system is then sealed for sampling and analysis.
Is it necessary to steam or cook it? Personally, I think that once the access holes on top and bottom of the liquefied gas tank are opened for natural ventilation, the flammable gases will evaporate. But some people here insist on boiling the contents, fearing that the liquefied gas might penetrate into the tank walls
In my opinion, what is missing is 1: conducting oxygen level tests; 2. Obtain a fire permit ; 3. Supervise personnel on-site during the hot work process, and provide fire extinguishers on site, etc

In my opinion, steam cooking is required for spherical tanks during hot work.
We have eliminated the steaming step; we’ve done it several times with no problems at all.
