Is it necessary to purge with nitrogen when shutting down a chemical liquid processing line? What does it have to do with the length of the production shutdown? I seek guidance from the masters.
It depends on what it is. If it’s a chemical liquid that is toxic, flammable, explosive in case of leakage, or requires prolonged storage, then nitrogen must be used.

If the equipment is to be parked for a short period of time, there is no need to empty the pipelines; therefore, nitrogen filling is not required. If it is to be parked for an extended period without emptying, it is sufficient to maintain pressure in the equipment (nitrogen is filled when the pressure drops). If emptying is necessary, nitrogen is used to push out the contents — QQ:@@@@@
