Secondly, active interlock devices are generally installed at the door leading from the cab to the machine compartment; they serve as a safety device to prevent crane maintenance personnel from getting an electric shock. Another safety device on a crane is the brake, which can stop the crane’s operation at any time to prevent accidents; therefore, the brake is extremely important for the proper operation of a crane. Furthermore, in the event that the crane’s brakes and end switches fail, the buffers can prevent the crane from colliding with objects, thereby ensuring a stable parking of the crane. Therefore, in dealing with emergencies, buffers are also a very practical safety device.
