Naphtha from Changding has a high salt content; can it be removed by washing?
This is the first time I’ve heard that salt exists in an aqueous solution; during the distillation process, oil and water are separated and the salt is essentially removed. The old manufacturing method involved using alkali to remove acidic substances such as thiolates and gums from naphtha, and then using water to wash away the remaining alkaline solution
Naphtha contains salts – it’s practically impossible; unless there is water in the gasoline, otherwise the difference in specific gravity cannot cause naphtha to contain salts
The normal distillate naphtha has a high salt content; it’s worth checking whether there is a problem with the pre-desalting system. If electrodialysis can meet the required standards, this situation shouldn’t occur!
Was it not completely removed in the electrodesalination system?
