Originally, 80FSB-38L was used, but the results were poor; the *ao acid concentration was 98%, and the unloading method was from a tank truck. I want to calculate the installation height of the *ao acid unloading pump now – what formula should I use? Should it be converted using the geometric installation height formula for water pumps?
Unloading generally involves liquid injection, so there is no need to consider the installation height. Only the flow rate and head (or tank height) need to be provided. When unloading, one needs to pay attention to the issue of idling; furthermore, the value indicating the lifting height must be reasonable – it’s not true that the higher the better. The tank is only 10 meters high, yet you insist on a head of 30 meters – this makes the pump very prone to failure.
*For the AO acid pump, C4 stainless steel can be used
I don’t know which pump you bought before? There are too many counterfeit products on the market these days that compete on price; the 80FSB is a fully plastic volute pump. The head value you mentioned seems unreasonable. Please feel free to call for more details – I specialize in the production and sales of various acid and alkali pumps.
Original poster, could you please specify which aspect you mean is not working well? Leakage or something like that. Specific details are needed to analyze the reason. Under normal circumstances, it is no problem to use an FSB pump as an *ao acid unloading pump.
