I guess the net octane number is the anti-knock index; that is, net octane number = ONI = (MON + RON)/2 = (101 + 117)/2 = 109
The octane number of the MTBE research method is 117.
This should be a question for oil blending workers; I agree with the opinion from the fourth floor.
